RCF makes an annual purchase of approximately RS. 1200 crores every year for its production requirements. These purchases have led to industrial growth in Punjab from where almost 20-25% material is being sourced. The technological guidance for manufacture of the coach components to the units set up by industrialists in this area has been provided by RCF.
